What do we make our furniture from?

Our furniture is manufactured from high-quality steel and wooden plywood.

What does delivery time mean?

The delivery time is the time it takes us to produce the furniture, plus 2-3 days for transport. Each furniture item has its own lead time and this is a maximum. If the product is marked ‘up to 6 weeks’, you may well receive your furniture after just four weeks. We will inform you of the exact delivery time after placing your order.

How to order furniture in KOMI.FURNITURE?

Ordering is done by adding the selected product to the basket. Payment by bank transfer account no. 16 1140 2004 0000 3702 7688 3419 mBank S.A. or by PayU payment operator. As soon as the funds are credited to our account, the order is directed to production. The delivery time of the order also counts from this time.

In what form is the furniture delivered?

The furniture is delivered whole without being assembled. Delivery within Poland is free of charge and we always try to adjust the date to suit you. We deliver the furniture to the indicated address without bringing it into the home. In the case of larger furniture dimensions, check the route to the destination before ordering. Measure the width and height of the door openings and the possibility of crossing the staircase.

How is the furniture delivered to the recipient?

We send the furniture in its entirety, by friendly transport companies. Before dispatch, we will contact you to arrange a convenient delivery day and time. Please note that the transport service is without carrying into the apartment/home. If you would like a carry-in, please contact us in advance.

How do I customise my furniture?

If you like any of our furniture, but the size or colour does not match your interior, just contact us by phone or via the contact form. After an interview, we will prepare a sketch drawing showing the changes along with a quote and completion date. Everything is done by email or telephone. Customisation is provided for:

• type of steel, type of plywood, finish and colour of the furniture,
• dimensions (we can adjust each dimension to the requirements of your interior while maintaining the original design),
• functional layout (if you need to change the functional layout of the furniture, we will help you to adjust it to your needs).

What do we finish the furniture with?

All furniture is finished with the highest quality powder paints. We finish wooden elements with ecological and certified OSMO oil waxes based on natural ingredients to ensure safe use and resistance to abrasion and dirt. We protect them with natural colourless oil wax.

How do you care for furniture?

Proper care of steel furniture with oiled wooden elements will allow you to enjoy its natural appearance for many years. The basic principle is cleaning with a slightly damp cloth made of soft material to avoid scratching the surface. In the case of wood, clean the surface according to the grain.

Absolutely no detergents are used, which may cause discolouration and stains. If you spill alcohol, remove it quickly to prevent it from being absorbed into the structure. After a few years, it is a good idea to refresh the piece of furniture by reapplying oil wax. Contact us and we will tell you which oil wax you need.

Can KOMI furniture be refurbished after years of use?

All our furniture can be refurbished. Steel elements can be re-sandblasted and painted. Renovation of wooden elements consists of gentle sanding of the wood with P200 granulation paper using e.g. an eccentric sander or by hand. The next step is to thoroughly dust off the surface and reapply one or two coats of oil-wax, the second coat after 8 hours. In the case of lacquered furniture, we use a varnish designed for wooden furniture instead of oil.
